Beloved in Christ,
Happy New Year! Welcome to the New Year 2025 and the Month of January! I greet you all in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. With a heart full of gratitude, I bless the name of the Almighty God, who has graciously carried us through 2024. Truly, our God has been faithful! Despite the challenges, trials, and uncertainties of the past year, the Lord has granted us victory on every side. We have experienced His unchanging love, enjoyed His divine protection, witnessed His mighty provision, and felt His abiding presence and power in our lives and His church. As we embark on this glorious journey into the New Year, I want to encourage each of you to remain steadfast in your walk with God. This is a year of divine purpose, and as we align ourselves with His will, we will see the manifestation of His promises in our lives. Serve Him wholeheartedly, seek Him diligently, and trust Him completely. This year, the Lord has given us a watchword to anchor our hearts and guide our steps.

 

From Micah 4:5b, we declare: “We will walk in the name of the Lord our God forever and ever.”
 

This scripture is a powerful declaration of confidence and assurance in God. It reminds us that our lives should reflect a deep commitment to the Lord as we walk in His name. Walking in His name means walking in alignment with His will, walking in His power, and walking in His victory. As we move forward, let us embrace this divine mandate and resolve to:

1. Walk in Holiness: Living lives that are set apart, pleasing to the Lord, and reflecting His glory (1 Peter 1:15-16).

2. Walk in Joy: Experiencing the joy of the Lord as our strength, no matter the circumstances (Nehemiah 8:10).

3. Walk in Power: Operating in the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome challenges and fulfill God’s purpose (Acts 1:8).

4. Walk in Victory: Trusting in the finished work of Christ and claiming the victory He has secured for us (1 Corinthians 15:57).

5. Walk in Love: Demonstrating God’s love to one another and to the world, fulfilling the law of Christ (John 13:34-35).

6. Walk in Faith: Holding fast to God’s promises, knowing that He is faithful to fulfill them (2 Corinthians 5:7).

7. Walk in Unity: Striving for the oneness of heart and purpose as a body of Christ (Ephesians 4:3).

 

This is a year of great opportunities, divine breakthroughs, and spiritual growth. It is a year to rise and shine, for the glory of the Lord is upon us (Isaiah 60:1). Let us be diligent in our service to God, fervent in prayer, and steadfast in faith. Together, as a church, we will move forward in the power of the Lord and bring glory to His name.

 

My Prayer for You

I pray that in this year the Lord will release His abundant blessings to you, your family, and the Church of God. The Lord will bless you with peace, joy, good health, and prosperity. His favor will surround you like a shield, and enable you to fulfill His purpose for your life. As we walk in the name of the Lord, we will experience greater dimensions of His presence, power, and glory in every area of our lives.

Happy New Year once again, the Lord will make it your best year yet in Jesus’ name!
