Chairman’s Message for June 2025

Beloved in Christ,

Happy New Month!

Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Welcome to the month of June, a month full of divine possibilities, fresh opportunities, and the faithful presence of our God. As we begin the second half of the year, let us take a moment to reflect on God’s goodness and the assurance that He remains near to all who call upon Him.

This month, we are reminded through our theme, “The Lord Answers Prayer,” that prayer is not just a religious ritual, it is a divine invitation to commune with our heavenly Father. In Job 14:15, we hear the tender assurance of God: “You shall call, and I will answer you; You shall desire the work of Your hands.” What a comfort it is to know that our Creator longs to hear from us and is ready to respond to the cries of our hearts.

While prayer is foundational to the Christian life, it does not come without challenges. Allow me to highlight two common struggles that many believers face, along with words of encouragement to overcome them.

First, many find it difficult to pray. Even with the best intentions, prayer is often neglected in our daily lives. Busyness, emotional fatigue, spiritual dryness, and even a sense of unworthiness can create barriers between us and the altar of prayer. But we must remember that God is not looking for eloquent speeches or lengthy declarations, He desires heartfelt communion. When we approach Him in sincerity, even the simplest prayers reach His throne. Like a loving Father, God listens when His children speak. Let us rekindle our commitment to prayer, not as a duty, but as a delight. Schedule time for it, make space for it, and guard it as sacred.

Second, many struggle to believe that God truly answers prayer. This doubt can creep in when our prayers seem to go unanswered, when results delay, or when outcomes don’t align with our expectations. But Scripture teaches that God always responds, sometimes with a “Yes,” sometimes with a “Wait,” and sometimes with a loving “No.” Even a “No” is an answer, and it reflects God’s wisdom and love for us. His ways are higher than ours, and His plans are always for our good (Jeremiah 29:11). Do not let unanswered prayers lead you to silence your voice or lower your expectations. Instead, trust that the God who sees the end from the beginning is working on your behalf, even when you cannot see it.

There is no request too small, and no mountain too great, for our God. Do not allow the weight of your burdens to rob you of the joy of prayer. Remember that prayer is not only about asking, it is also about trusting. When we pour out our hearts to God, we shift our focus from our problems to His power.

As we journey through this month, I encourage you to pray boldly and believe faithfully. Seek the Lord in your private moments and in the fellowship of the saints. Trust in His faithfulness. He is not deaf to your cries, and He is never too far to respond. Just as Jesus often withdrew to pray, let us follow His example, drawing near to the Father, knowing that in His presence, we find peace, wisdom, strength, and answers.

Let this month mark a revival in your prayer life. Ask again. Believe again. Wait in hope again. The Lord answers prayer, and He will answer you.

May the God who hears and answers prayer bless you abundantly. May He strengthen your faith, renew your hope, and reward your perseverance. This month, may testimonies of answered prayer fill your heart and home, and may your relationship with God grow deeper than ever before.

In His Service,
