Chairman’s Message for December 2025

Beloved in Christ,

Grace, mercy, and peace be multiplied unto you in the glorious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Welcome to December, the final month of the year. We give all glory to the Almighty God who has carried us, kept us, covered us, and sustained us from January until now. Truly, we can declare as the psalmist proclaimed, “The LORD is good; His mercy endures forever” (Psalm 136:1).

This blessed month is not merely the ending of a year. It is a divine reminder that God completes every good work He begins. December also holds a special significance for us as believers, as we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. As we rejoice in the gift of Emmanuel, God with us, may His presence fill your home with peace, hope, and joy. I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas filled with the love of Christ and the comfort of His salvation.

Our theme for this month comes from Isaiah 54:17: “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me, says the LORD.” The theme for the month is “The Lord Will Protect Us from Demonic Evil Intentions.”

This powerful promise reminds us that even as the year closes, God remains our Defender, our Shield, and our Protector. The Bible does not say that weapons will not form. It says they will not prosper. Evil intentions are real. The enemy uses fear, confusion, slander, accusations, and spiritual attacks to oppose God’s people. Jesus warned in John 10:10, “The thief comes only to steal and to kill and to destroy.” Evil intentions aim to weaken us, destroy our progress, and eliminate our God-given purpose. Yet God assures us that His promise of protection is sure. He will guard your life, your home, your destiny, and everything that concerns you. His covenant cannot fail, and His word cannot be broken.

The enemy also uses the tongue as a weapon. Words spoken in judgment, lies, condemnation, and curses are designed to discourage and destabilize believers. But the Lord declares that we shall condemn every tongue that rises in judgment. We declare victory because we are His heritage, His covenant children, and our righteousness comes from Him. What God has spoken concerning us cannot be overturned by the plans of the wicked. His promises are yes and amen, and what He has declared will surely come to pass (Isaiah 55:11, 2 Corinthians 1:20).

This is why prayer remains essential, especially in this month. Prayer dismantles evil intentions before they take shape. Prayer exposes hidden traps. Prayer silences the voice of the accuser. Prayer secures God’s protective covering over our families and aligns us with His perfect will. Scripture reminds us in James 5:16 that “The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” We pray because the battle is real, and we pray because God has guaranteed the victory.

December is also the month of our final PrayerFest, the last quarter of our marathon intercession. From the midnight of December 15 to December 20 we will gather on our prayer line to seek the face of God together. I encourage every member to participate faithfully. This PrayerFest is our opportunity to finish the year strong, to lift our petitions before the Lord, and to position ourselves for divine intervention.

Even though the year is coming to an end, it is never too late to ask God for what you need. It is never too late for Him to answer. He is the One who crowns the year with His goodness (Psalm 65:11). As you pray, believe that the Lord will protect you from every evil intention, overturn every evil plan, silence every evil tongue, and establish His righteousness over your life and household. His promise to shield you is unfailing, and His covering over you and your family is secure.

Beloved, as we enter this final month, I pray that the Lord will keep you under His mighty hand.  No weapon formed against you shall prosper.  Every evil word spoken against you shall be condemned. I pray that divine peace dwell in your home. and your steps be ordered by the grace of God, and may the joy of Christ fill your hearts as we celebrate His birth.

Happy New Month and Merry Christmas!

May the Rock of our salvation protect you now and forever.

With blessings and prayer,

Pastor (Dr.) Emmanuel Falaye
