Chairman’s Message for March 2026

Beloved in Christ,

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I warmly welcome you into the month of March and joyfully declare, Happy New Month! We thank God for His sustaining grace and for guiding us thus far in this year themed “Reaping in Joy.”

As we journey forward, the Lord draws our attention in this third month to a foundational pathway for joyful harvest - unity, beginning in our homes and flowing into the church. Our focus is Reaping in Joy Through Believers’ Unity, anchored in Psalm 133:1–3: “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity… for there the Lord commanded the blessing - life forevermore.” Unity is good in God’s sight and pleasant in human experience. It is the atmosphere where God commands His blessing. Without unity, joy is hindered; with unity, joy overflows.

Unity begins in the home, which is God’s first institution. Jesus reminds us that “a house divided against itself cannot stand” (Mark 3:25). When husband and wife walk in love, honor, and mutual submission, as instructed in Ephesians 5:21–33, the home becomes a sanctuary of peace and strength. Where there is understanding and spiritual partnership, prayers are unhindered (1 Peter 3:7), and families reap joy instead of sorrow. Likewise, harmony between parents and children secures generational blessing. “Children, obey your parents in the Lord… Fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:1–4). In such homes, stability and joy flourish.

Beyond the family, unity must characterize our church life. Scripture exhorts us to “obey those who rule over you… for they watch out for your souls” (Hebrews 13:17). Unity between leadership and congregation fosters trust, spiritual growth, and unhindered progress. The body of Christ is one, though made up of many members (1 Corinthians 12:12). Division weakens our witness, but unity amplifies our impact. When the early church continued in one accord, in devotion to fellowship and prayer, the Lord added to them daily (Acts 2:42–47).

During the Watchword meeting in December, the Lord graciously reminded us of the need to address divisions among leadership. This call is not to condemn but to restore. Jesus declared that the world will know we are His disciples by our love (John 13:35). Therefore, let us forgive one another, heal old wounds, and unite in purpose, for this is the will of our Father.

Beloved, unity is not uniformity but harmony of hearts centered on Christ. As we intentionally pursue unity in our homes, families, leadership structures, and assemblies, we position ourselves for a harvest of joy. Division drains strength, but unity releases blessing.

I pray that the Lord will strengthen unity in our homes - between husbands and wives; parents and children; and between siblings; - by granting hearts filled with love, patience, and understanding. May the Lord bind us together in peace across every level of our church. May every seed of discord be uprooted, and may the anointing of unity flow among us like "the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, The beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments" (Psalm 133:2). As we walk together in oneness, may the Lord command His blessing upon us, and may we indeed reap in joy, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Happy New Month, and may the Lord bless and keep you.

Shalom,
