Chairman’s New Year Message 2026

Beloved in Christ,

Happy New Year! Welcome to the year 2026 and the glorious month of January. I greet you in the matchless and majestic name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. As we cross the threshold into this new year, my heart overflows with praise to the Almighty God, our Ebenezer, who has helped us thus far.

Looking back at 2025, we can testify that God’s presence was our constant companion. He navigated us through every storm, sustained us by His grace, and proved Himself as the God who walks with His people. Today, we stand on the soil of a new year, not by our own strength or cleverness, but by the mercy of the One whose mercies are new every morning.

For this year 2026’s Watchword, the Lord has anchored our souls with a profound declaration from Jeremiah 10:6b: “O Lord, You are great, and Your name is great in might.”

In a world that often celebrates the greatness of men, the power of technology, or the strength of economies, we are called to lift our eyes to the Only One who is truly Great. Theology teaches us that God is "Incomprehensible," meaning He is so vast that no human mind can fully grasp His limits, yet He graciously reveals His essence through His Name. In the biblical tradition, a name is more than a simple label; it represents the character, authority, and very nature of the person. When we declare that the Name of the Lord is great in might, we are acknowledging that His Name is inherently powerful, the same name that commanded light to pierce the darkness at the dawn of creation. We recognize that His Name is legally authoritative, serving as the supreme mandate at which every knee must bow, and we find His Name to be spiritually sufficient; a strong tower where the righteous run and find eternal safety.

As we navigate the months ahead, let us move beyond merely speaking of His greatness and begin living in the daily reality of His might. I charge you first to exalt His name in worship, ensuring our praises are high and our hearts remain humble as we recognize there is no one like Him in all the earth. We must also resolve to exercise His might in prayer, refusing to be intimidated by the "Goliaths" of 2026, for the name of the Lord is great in might to pull down every stronghold.

Furthermore, let us exhibit His greatness in our character, for as we bear His name as Christians, our lives must reflect the excellence and holiness of the Great God we serve. Finally, we must be intentional to extend His name to the nations, remaining fervent in evangelism and telling the world that there is salvation in no other name but the name of Jesus. This is a year to expect the "exceeding abundantly" according to Ephesians 3:20; because our God is great, we should expect great breakthroughs, and because His name is mighty, we should expect mighty deliverances.

I pray that in 2026; the Great God will perform great things in your life. May His Mighty Name shield your home from every arrow of the enemy, and may His Greatness overshadow your smallness, turning your "little" into "much." It is my heart's desire that you experience the miracle-working power resident in the Name of Jesus and that the Church of God grows in strength, depth, and impact as we lift up the Name that is above every other name.

Welcome to a year of Greatness and Might! May 2026 be a year where you see the "Finger of God" working wonders in your health, your career, your business, your education, your family, and your spiritual walk.
Happy New Year once again!

Stay blessed, stay humble, and stay under the shadow of the Almighty.

Yours In His Service,
