Chairman’s Message for April 2025
Beloved in Christ,
Happy New Month!
Beloved in Christ,
Happy New Month! I warmly welcome you into the month of April in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ. As we step into a new quarter or the year, we give thanks to God for His unfailing grace and mercy. It is only by His goodness that we are alive today, and for this, He alone deserves all praise, honor, and adoration.
As we embrace this new month, I want to encourage us with the words of Apostle Paul in Galatians 6:9a: “Let us not become weary ill doing good.”
Paul's exhortation to the believers in Galatia served as a reminder to remain steadfast in the face of challenges, opposition, or discouragement. This same message is relevant to us today.
There may be times when your efforts – whether in ministry, family, work, or personal life – seem unappreciated or fruitless. You may feel discouraged when the results do not meet your expectations, criticism arises, or opposition emerges. However, we must recognize that these challenges arc often distractions meant to weaken our resolve. The enemy knows that persistence in doing good brings glory to God and leads to blessings in due time.
Press on! Continue doing what is right, not for recognition, but because it is pleasing to God. Whether your efforts arc acknowledged or overlooked, whether you are appreciated or taken granted, continue to persevere. Do good anyway. Show kindness in your words and actions, and remain faithful in whatever the Lord has entrusted to your care. If God has called you to serve, serve with wholehearted devotion. If He has placed a burden on your heart to help someone, do not hesitate. Remember, our labor is not in vain in the Lord (1 Corinthians 15:58).
Paul reminds us that there is a reward for perseverance, but only if we do not give up. God's timing is perfect, and He never forgets our labor of love. Even when the harvest seems delayed, trust that He is working behind the scenes, and in due season, your faithfulness will be rewarded.
Let us also take encouragement from the words of Redemption Hymnal 687:
Go, labor on; spend and be spent,
Thy joy to do the Father's will;
It is the way the Master went,
Should not the servant tread it still?
As we journey through this month, I pray we be renewed in our dedication, faith, and perseverance. Let us remain steadfast, not looking back, not giving in to fear, and not allowing discouragement to hinder our purpose. Jesus Himself remained faithful to the work of the Father, knowing that both the earthly and eternal rewards were certain (John 9:4; Hebrews 12:2). Similarly, our reward is also inevitable.
I pray the Lord strengthens and encourages you. I pray He renew your zeal, fill your heart with peace, and uphold you with His righteous hand. I also pray that His favor surrounds you, and your life overflow with His blessings. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
Once again, Happy New Month! May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you always.
In His Service,
Pastor (Dr.) Emmanuel Falaye
