Chairman’s Message for September 2025

Beloved in Christ,

Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Welcome to the month of September, a significant month as we enter the final quarter of this year. I bless the name of the Lord who has preserved our lives, sustained our families, and kept His church standing strong. To Him be all the glory forever and ever. Amen.

This month is particularly special for us as a body of Christ because we are beginning it with our seven-day marathon prayer session, PrayerFest, which is still ongoing. By seeking the face of God from the very first day, we have declared our dependence on Him and set the spiritual tone for the rest of the month. PrayerFest is not just another program; it is our sacrifice of devotion, a holy gathering to intercede for our families, our church, our nation, and the world. I believe with all my heart that the prayers we are lifting in these seven days will open doors of restoration and breakthroughs in every area of our lives.

Our theme for this month is “God’s Restorative Power” with the anchor Scripture from Isaiah 43:5: “Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your descendants from the east, and gather you from the west.” In this promise, we see two dimensions of God’s restorative power. First, a divine assurance: “Fear not, for I am with you.” Second, a divine action: “I will bring… I will gather.” The God who speaks is also the God who acts. When He restores, He restores fully by healing what is broken, regathering what has been scattered, and renewing what seemed lost.

Restoration is not merely about recovering the past; it is about God making all things new. Perhaps you have faced setbacks, disappointments, or delays this year. Perhaps opportunities, health, relationships, or even your faith have been shaken. Beloved, this is your month to believe again. Be ready, for you shall surely experience God’s restorative power this month. The God who gathers from the east and the west will gather the fragments of your life and breathe His purpose into them. His restorative power is greater than every loss you have experienced.

Let us also remember that restoration is not only personal but generational. God’s promise in Isaiah 43:5 includes descendants, which means your children, your family, and those connected to you are also within the scope of His plan. What a powerful reminder that when God restores, He restores households, communities, and nations. He is faithful to restore His church, to renew our strength, and to revive His people for His glory.

As we continue in this month, and as PrayerFest continues through these seven days, let us walk in faith and not in fear. Let us stand on the assurance that God is with us and expect His restorative hand to move in every area of our lives. The prayers we are sowing in this sacred time will not return empty. May this September mark the beginning of mighty testimonies of restoration in your life, in your family, and in our church. Happy New Month!
