Chairman’s Message for October 2025

Beloved in Christ,

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Welcome to the blessed month of October! I joyfully say, Happy New Month. Glory, honor, and praise be to the Almighty who has graciously preserved our lives, sustained our families, and upheld His church to see yet another month. For more than 270 days this year, the Lord has carried us through dangers seen and unseen. Truly, “It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not” (Lamentations 3:22). Beloved, the same God who has brought us this far will surely carry us through the remaining days of the year and beyond, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

The theme for this month is “Our LORD Answers Prayer,” with our anchor Scripture from Jeremiah 33:3: “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” In this single verse, the Lord reveals three profound assurances.

First, He gives AN INVITATION, “Call to Me.” Prayer is not man’s idea but God’s gracious invitation, calling His children into communion with Him. The King of glory Himself beckons us to come boldly before His throne of grace, for He is never distant, never silent, but always nearby. As the psalmist declares, “The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth” (Psalm 145:18).

Second, there is AN INTERVENTION: “I will answer you.” The assurance of prayer lies not in the eloquence of our words but in the unchanging promise of God. He never ignores the cry of His people: “The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles” (Psalm 34:17). Our God is not an idol that cannot speak or hear; He is the living God who responds, intervenes, and manifests His power in our circumstances.

Finally, God promises AN ILLUMINATION, “I will show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” Prayer is not only about receiving answers but also about receiving revelation. Through prayer, God opens our eyes to spiritual realities we could never see on our own. He unveils hidden treasures, gives divine strategies for victory, and aligns our hearts with His eternal purposes. As Paul writes, “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit” (1 Corinthians 2:9–10). Illumination reminds us that prayer is not just about changing situations but about being transformed by divine revelation and walking in God’s wisdom.

Who is this LORD that invites us to pray? He is the Creator of heaven and earth, the Ancient of Days, the Mighty Warrior who never loses a battle, the Great Provider, the Unchangeable Changer, the Lord of lords, and the King of kings. No wonder Scripture declares, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14). This is the God who has pledged Himself to answer His people when they call.

Beloved, what is your need today? Are you sick in your body, burdened with financial struggles, or standing at the edge of a breakthrough? Are you seeking peace, direction, favor, or victory in any area of your life? Remember the words of Jesus: “Whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it” (John 14:13-14). The same God who answered Abraham with a son, Hannah with a child, Elijah with fire, Hezekiah with healing, Daniel with deliverance, Peter with release, and Paul and Silas with open prison doors is still alive and faithful today. He has not changed, and He will surely answer you.

Therefore, I urge you this month: raise the altar of prayer. In your personal life, in your home, and in our churches, let us saturate October with the incense of prayer. Pray for salvation, for peace, for healing, for joy, for provision, for promotion, for victory, for favor, and for mercy. Pray until your joy is full, as Jesus declared: “Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full” (John 16:24). Let us not merely pray for ourselves but intercede for TACGV, our leaders, our communities, and our nations. And as you pray, let faith guide your petitions, for “whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them” (Mark 11:24).

As we step into this month together, let us lift our voices with faith, knowing that the God who has answered in ages past is the same God who will answer again. “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6–7). I decree that October shall be for you a month of divine visitation, a month of supernatural answers, and a month of testimonies in Jesus’ mighty name.

Know this for sure: you are serving a living and powerful God who answers prayer. Do you believe that He answers prayer? If you truly believe, then why wouldn’t you call upon Him today?

Happy New Month, and I pray that the LORD who answers prayer meet you at the very point of your need. May His peace guard your heart, His joy fill your soul, and His answers overflow in your life this month and beyond.

Shalom,
